PARABLE AT THE MARKETPLACE

PARABLE AT THE MARKETPLACE

Did you not hear of that madman
who rushed to the market to
warn her inhabitants about

the vision seen concerning a
coming war ? Which when he
got there said;

where are your wits, ye buyers and sellers, have you used them
all, remaining nothing?

and the people laughed him to
scorn saying

"are our wits ants that flies
around? or are they birds that
leave their nests seeking for

morning meals? have we gone
all out, leaving our wits at our
homes? maybe they have all

gone on holidays, look! there
they are, on top of the mountains,
in the depth of the ocean, behold,

at the entrance to the east gates"
and then they bursted into laughter

the madman, looking so
infuriated then made the
following statement

"O ye fools, villagers bereft of
wisdom!

ye though crowned with sanity
yet devoid of sight,

have you not heard the beating
drums of war, can’t you see the
eagles, the vultures singing songs

that heralds Armageddon? can’t
you hear the feets of soldiers ready
to unleash wraths of hell upon us all?

is there not any amongst you who
could read the handwritings plainly engraved on the walls?

Can’t you smell the raging odor of
vicious diseases that shatters hope
of the unborn, nor feel the gushing

lusts of giant (hyper-men) on the
tits of your virgins? I will tell you
what you have all done with your

wits. You have destroyed them with
your own hands and their remains
you have fed to science! yes!! I

can smell them decomposing, I
can hear rumblings in the belly
of your new god! you have all

killed wisdom given you by the
Creator and replaced it with vanity
